Hey Everyone! These are the latest pictures as of Monday afternoon. We have started siding and the roofers came today to put on the shingles. Also, the dormer is on with its window in now. Very exciting!

Mountain weekend and House picture

Todd and I had a wonderful time in the mountains last weekend. And when we came home, our house was still standing. here is an updated picture of the house. This week and next are all subs, so we probably won't have a lot of pictures to show the electrical and plumbing. But drywall will probably be going in two weeks and they will start siding soon. Love ya'll!

'Three Wee Kings' in June

I guess I'd better post some pictures of the grands. I may not get much chance after GM and GD get here - although we'll be sure to take more pictures with them. In any case, we're hoping that Olice and Daniel can have a crawling race before the week's over. Yeh, right! Garrison can be the referee.

Ken Says Goodbye to Fritz!

I know all the Baker's are still in shock over it but Ken did indeed part with 'Fritz' yesterday - his 1984 Mercedes car friend which has been in the family for the last 21 years!! More unbelievable is that he actually got some money for Fritz!! Of course the replacement car had to be pretty awesome (and the right price) in order for this to happen and here you have pictures of it - a 2000 model year E320 Mercedes in a color called Smoke Silver (though it looks more like champagne). The interior is tan leather and the car only had 47,000 miles on it! Though this car is nearly 7 years old, it looks, rides and smells like brand new. What a treat it will be to take it to Virginia today to pick up Grandma and Grandpa - and to see their faces. Wonder how many negatives they will find. Hee Hee. I for one am very proud of Pops. Love, Oma
P.S. I'm even prouder that KAB Tech has not bought a replacement truck yet (for non-family readers, our beautiful F350 was stolen and stripped about a month ago). Thomas' truck was used a couple of times as well as rental trucks for about 3 weeks. We hope to be able to manage without 'Big Red' as we wind into retirement.
