Follow the links to see the girls' pics of their week together in Colorado
Schelyn posted some great pics on her Facebook account - it's worth signing up with FB just to see them! But there may be some on her and Danielle's blogspots as well. Hope you know how to get there! - M

Thomas' surprise visit to Greenville
As some of you may know, Thomas has taken a job for the summer in Washington State. Near Seattle actually. We were thinking that, unless we went to the beach to see him, we wouldn't have gotten to see him until August. However, he surprised us all and changed his beach flight ticket so that he could see us for a weekend (and to surprise Jordan, too). We were all delighted but a little sad that Nancy and Danielle were not in town with their 3 babies (did you already see the picture of all of them out in Colorado?) Anyway, Ken and I did get to see them for a day and a night at the beach - before heading back for GM & GD's 65th wedding anniversary party! I might be able to blog some of those pictures later but for now: look on facebook - I'll be happy to be your 'Friend' so you can see more beach pics, too!
Yes, this is what you think it is - a baby shark caught by one of Jordan's cousins, Caleb. Are you thinking the same thing that I am? Where is the Mamma while this kid is playing with her baby?

Life Goes On
Mom and Dad have moved in - as of Mother's Day (or Ken's sister, Ruth's birthday) - and we now have what Erika calls: "A new normal". We've been to lots of doctors already and have plenty more to see for various reasons but, all in all, the 'rents are doing well and seem to be adjusting a bit.
Ken and I have taken time out to help dear friends, Mike and Deanna (and Jared) move - and we've enjoyed watching the crop being harvested on our land (a short walk from our house). Plus we've had numerous occasions to enjoy a meal and fellowship with family. I think Olice and Georgia really like having Grandma and Grandpa here!
More later! (I'll post pictures of the day Dad left the rehab hospital and then you'll be able to see that he's really put on some pounds!)
-Marijke (& Ken) - the almost-empty-nesters!!
