One Wall, Two Walls, Three Walls, FOUR!!

So, I still can't seem to post pictures in the ORDER that I want them. Oh well. At any rate, you can see that we now have all four exterior walls up! Yeah! Tomorrow we'll be putting in the interior walls so that next week we can start on the roof. The roof may take a little longer than expected simply because our house is now so tall. Please pray for safety for all the guys up there working (Todd, Jeremy, Scott and Matt). We will keep you posted with more next week!

Fixin', Fixin', Fixin'

Progress pictures of Danielle and Will's place getting paint everywhere (especially the kitchen) and new walls (and tile later) in the master bath. By the way, does everyone know that Danielle and Schelyn both picked out the very same color of paint - Cookie Crumb! How odd is that? It's the color behind the rooster. D, this bird needs a name!

Olice can Sit!

Olice first sat on his own almost two weeks ago (May 7th for the first time). Now he can do it long after we've had time for a picture or two. I don't know if this is really gonna work on not? I tried to upload a picture for y'all.

It's more than a ripple now, girls

Don't you think she is getting a little bigger? :)

An easy, get the job done recipe

Tex Mex Ravioli Casserole
1 (16 oz.) jar mild salsa
1 (10 3/4) can tomato puree
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1 (28 oz.) bag frozen cheese ravioli, do not thaw
2 (19 oz.) cans black beans, drained and rinsed
1 bunch green onions, thinly sliced
1/2 c. fresh chopping cilantro (or parsley)
2c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1c. shredded monterey jack cheese.

Combine first three ingredients. Pour 1/2 cup sauce mixture on the bottom of a lightly greased 9x13 dish. Top evenly with frozen cheese ravioli. Layer with black beans, chopped cilantro, green onions and remaining sauce mixture; top evenly with shredded cheeses.
Bake covered with aluminum foil for 45 minutes at 350 or until bubbly. Remove foil, and bake 5 more minutes uncovered.

Erika's Tree

Erika, just a picture of what your tree looked like this spring. I took this a while ago and remembered I had it when you called me the other day.

A New Dew for 101 Shady

I know we have had good memories of raking pathways in the pine needles, but the forest is no more!
Finally my 'Winter Project' is done. After taking out twelve pine trees, grinding the stumps, and tilling for eight hours, I thought you guys would like to see the finished product. The wild cherry tree in the middle of the sod is going to come down in the fall, I just had to lay the sod before summer came and didn't have time to cut it down.

Openin' her up

Here is a picture of the stairwell BEFORE we started to tear it down. Some people weren't sure what they were looking at in the previous post. Then you can see what that stairwell looks like now. Also the basement header that was necessary for additional support and then finally, the opening of the roof! Yeah!

Yeh - A Couple More Church Pics

Olice's outfit sure was cute - especially the socks that Oma whipped up. And here are the pictures finally - of more of the Fisher family. Nancy sure is blessed to have been married into such a great family.

Baby Olice Dedicated

Oma here - trying to give all of you a cross section of pictures taken Sunday. Not Mother's Day but Olice's dedication - or christening, maybe? That's what the card said that I found.

He was such a good boy and you could tell that the pastor has already fallen in love with him. You would have loved it. By the way, Wes was there, too but I didn't get a picture of him - or Beth's dad, F.E. - he came but left early because he was still recouperating from mouth surgery. I've been trying to put pics of Steve, Mee Maw and Grandma Shell on here but blogger.com is not cooperating. Sorry.

The Graduates

Nancy figures she earned this diploma as much as Reid did - and Olice figures his dad's going to laugh when he sees his own son in his graduation pictures twenty years from now...

Dan and Will's Ku-do House

Here are some pictures of Dan's newly painted shutters and the Kilz on the kitchen cabinets (courtesy of Ken and I). Check out this tree, Guys! It's made for a swing for sure - heck with the chicken! Love, Mom

POO POO

Well, what a Mother's Day gift I got tonight! G Money pooped on the potty for the first time! He was so excited he about wiggled himself off. We sang "Happy Poo Poo to you" and let him blow out a "candle." Tomorrow, we eat cake!

All Dressed Up with Nowhere to Go

Got the kiddos ready for church last week and then the green started flowing out of G money's nose. Oh well. What can a mom do but try to get some pics of her kids together? They didn't cooperate too well.
